OCEAN CITY LEGEND TO RECEIVE GOLDEN DEEDS AWARD

Peggy Lloyd, recently named an Ocean City Legend in the book mentioned above, will receive the Ocean City Exchange Club’s “Book of Golden Deeds Award” for her contributions to the Community over the decades. Ninety nine years young , Peggy has been active in the community’s arts and music programs and has been vice president of the Ocean City Arts Center for more than 30 years. During World War ll she was a newspaper correspondent and also served as the chaperone to Miss America for many years. Her goal is to inspire children with love of the arts. Peggy inspires all who know her with her enthusiasm.

The presentation will be made on Mon., April 23 at Greate Bay Country Club in Somers Point, Hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. For reservations, call Joe Libby 609-391-1420 or contact jlibbyins@verizon.net.
