Anti-BYOB Group Schedules Public Information Forum

The Committee to Preserve Ocean City plans a 7 p.m. April 19 event.

The opponents of a public initiative to allow "Bring Your Own Bottle" restaurants in Ocean City will hold an to educate Ocean City residents on the BYOB legislation that will be voted on in a ballot question in the May 8 municipal election.

The Committee to Preserve Ocean City will sponsor the event 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in the lecture hall at the at 1735 Simpson Ave. The forum is open to the public.

“The forum is designed to provide factual information pertaining to the proposed BYOB ordinance and the negative impact it would have on our city,” said Committee Chairman Andrew Fasy. "We encourage Ocean City residents to attend this session to become more informed on this critically important issue.”
