South Jersey Wind Ensemble Bringing Broadway Music to Ocean City

"A Broadway Musical" comes to the Ocean City Music Pier Sept. 4.

The South Jersey Wind Ensemble will visit Ocean City for a post Labor Day show.

The ensemble, under the direction of Music Director Keith Hodgson and Associate Conductor Ron Poorman, will perform at the Ocean City Music Pier on Wednesday, Sept. 4, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The concert, titled “A Broadway Musical,” features music from multiple Broadway shows, including “Les Miserables,” “The Music Man,” “Phantom of the Opera,” and “Wicked,” among others.

The show is sponsored by the Friends of the Ocean City Pops.

“Shaken Not Stirred Players” vocalists James Dalfonso and Deborah Jenkins are set to join the 65-member ensemble, which is made up of professional musicians, music educators and other outstanding South Jersey musicians.
