Ocean City's first sand sculpting contest of the summer will be held 9 a.m. July 9 at the 6th Street Beach. The contest was first held 42 years ago for amateur sculptors.
The contest, which is free to enter, will feature six categories: 5-years old and under; ages 6-8; ages 9-12; teens; single adults, and families. Prizes will be awarded.
