With NBC's 10-year run of the TV comedy "The Office" ending this season, one of its stars, Craig Robinson (Darryl), will try his hand as the lead of a new comedy.
That could be a break for Molly Morgen Lamont, a 12-year-old Ocean City girl who recently completed an eight-day shoot as a co-star in the pilot for the untitled new show.
- See Lamont on ABC at 9 p.m. tonight (April 17) in a rerun of a "Modern Family" episode in which she guest-stars.

The Craig Robinson pilot "centers on a rough-edged musician who's adjusting to his new life as a music teacher in a big-city middle school, where he encounters teacher politics and the temptations of single moms," according to the website IMDB.
Lamont is one of the costars playing a student and choir kid at a middle school. She had to cancel her flight home for Easter to remain in California for filming that continued through April 2.
Lamont lives in the Bay Landings neighborhood in Ocean City and completed fifth grade at Ocean City Intermediate School before moving to California with her mother, Linda Lamont, to chase her dream of acting.
