Poll: Ocean City Boardwalk Left Off List of Nation's Best

Wildwood was named the top beach boardwalk in the nation by Family Vacation Critic.

Less than a week after being recognized as the top beach in New Jersey by the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium and the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey Coastal Research Center, Ocean City was left off the list of Best Boardwalks in the country.

Family Vacation Critic, a subsidiary of Trip Advisor named Wildwood the top beach boardwalk in America, making it the only New Jersey boardwalk in the top 12.

While the Ocean City Boardwalk is still undergoing repairs and reconstruction, do you think it deserved a spot on this list, or is there still more work to do?

In my opinion, our boardwalk is nice, and I love it, but it is a little lack luster. I personally would love to a few more upscale stores like what's on Asbury Ave. I love the art shows and craft shows and would love to see stores such as that. It would be nice if we had a few more rides aimed at the teenage kids. I personally hate Wildwood but the boardwalk has a variety of things going on. As a leisurely boardwalk I would say it is better then AC, & Cape May, and much much cleaner then Wildwood.

okay just read the list and if they are going to add Key West and Ft Lauderdale they are just looking at places to walk along the beach then OC should have def made the list!

Interesting...what kind of wood do they have on the Boardwalk in Wildwood?

@justinOC oh I get it... Wildwood just replace a large section of thier boardwalk with Brazililan hardwood called ipê (I thought I heard that OC had that lying around unused)
