This camera never works. what is wrong with it?
Jeff Monihan February 21, 2014 at 07:49 AM
Although there isn't much beach to see you can go to the 57 street beach cam and see the neglected 57 street beach

this cam is the 7th street surf shop beach cam located on top of their shop at 654 board walk. if you are having issues with the feed through surfersview of their sister site it is constantly up through www.7thstreetsurfshop.com and has not been down for public view more then a week since its installation over a year ago

The Ocean City administration doesn't care about the south end beaches. That is crystal clear.
Frank March 03, 2014 at 01:56 PM
Kathy that is far from the truth.
Jeff Monihan March 18, 2014 at 08:46 AM
I keep trying to believe that the city administration really does care about the south and beach. That being said when the next north end "polititians beach" replenishment comes up let's see if the administration lobbies the Army Corps of Engineers to give the south end the next replenishment instead.
Frank March 18, 2014 at 10:41 AM
The South end beach replenishment is scheduled to begin this Fall.
wendy smith March 18, 2014 at 01:09 PM
Scheduled for the fall according to whom and what official document? It was scheduled for March 15 and we all see how that worked out. It was only a few months ago when the administration was still "hopeful" this would begin March 15. Hope has yet to bring us a dredge.
Frank March 18, 2014 at 06:23 PM
I guess you only selectively read articles regarding to beach replenishment. I stand corrected - it will never happen - that is what you want to hear. I have never lived in a place where people thrive on negativity like Ocean City.
Jeff Monihan March 18, 2014 at 06:52 PM
We aren't negative . We just want a beach like the rest of the island has. We have been waiting for 14 years as we watch the north end get replenish every 3 years with our tax dollars.
wendy smith March 18, 2014 at 07:10 PM
Frank. I read every article. The ACE has not released a date- have they? The Governor is quoted in the paper from October- he states the timeline and says March 15. Then we are told maybe not. Then not. All along we hear we are hopeful. Frank, do you have 100% factual information that guarantees a Fall project ? If yes, please put it out there. Do not tell me I am negative. I have simply asked for the truth and a plan since day one. Local officials in January were still saying they saw no reason it would not be done this Spring. If that is the case where is the dredge? If you know something factual please post it. That's all. I know one pure honest fact, it is not happening on the Spring as we were told.

This state sucks
