Ocean City Ecumenical Council Food Cupboard Hours and Donations

The local Food Cupboard will feed those in need and accept donations.

OCEAN CITY ECUMENICAL COUNCIL COMMUNITY FOOD CUPBOARD & CLOTHES CLOSET RECOVERY LOCATION AND HOURS AFTER HURRICANE SANDY

Due to water damage at St. Peter’s Methodist Church, the Food Cupboard has temporarily moved to the Ocean City Civic Center, 6th Street & The Boardwalk.  To serve the needy of our community, the Food Cupboard will be opened on Sunday, November 4th from 1:00PM – 3:00PM to distribute food and accept donations.  Until further notice future hours at the Civic Center will be Monday – Friday from 1:00PM – 3:00PM.  Cleaning supplies are available for those who need these types of supplies. 

CLOTHES CLOSET – Remains at its location at 555 West Avenue, Mondays & Wednesdays 10:00AM – 3:00PM and Fridays 10:00AM – 12:30PM.   Urgent need for donations of sheets, blankets and towels.  Clothing donations are not requested at this time.

The Ocean City Ecumenical Council Community Food Cupboard and Clothes Closet provides for the needy of our community.  Your donations, especially at this crucial time of need, will help us fulfill that mission.  Please mail donations to the Ocean City Ecumenical Council Inc., P.O. The Senior Center at the Community Center (18th Street) is serving hot meals until 7 pm today and from 1-7 pm tomorrow. They also have blankets, non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies, etc for anyone in need. IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW NEEDS A HOT MEAL OR JUST A CLEAN-UP BREAK PLEASE SEND THEM THERE. They are accepting donations of bottles water, any items listed above and cooked food and baked goods. This is a great effort by the community - thank you to everyone who has lend a helping hand.
