Ocean City Among the 10 Best Beaches for Families Nationally
Family Vacation Critic, a subsidiary of TripAdvisor, names Ocean City as a top 10 beach nationally. It's the only Jersey Shore town on this year's list.
Ocean City is among the top 10 beaches for families in the nation, and the top beach for families in the state, according to familyvacationcritic.com.
The website trumpets Ocean City's ban on alcohol, the boardwalk, Adventure Island and Gillians Wonderland Pier.
It also plays up Ocean City's low-cost events for families throughout the summer months, including Funtastic Tuesdays, Beach Walks, Family Nights and Character Nights.
Ocean City is the only New Jersey beach on the website's 2014 "10 Best Beaches for Families" list, which also includes Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, as well as beaches in Florida and California.
