NOT OVER YET: Snow Ready To Slam New Jersey, Pennsylvania Once Again

The National Weather Service In Mount Holly has issued a winter storm warning for heavy snow across much of New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.

The warning is in effect from 8 p.m Sunday until noon Monday.

Snow Accumulation in the Jersey Shore - including Ocean City - could be as high as 6 to 8 inches, while other areas of southern, central and northern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania could get up to 4 inches.

Winds are expected to come from the northeast at 5 To 15 mph wiith gusts up to 25 Mph.

At the start of a snow storm, salt and sanding vehicles will be dispatched on major roadways, such as the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey and Pennsylvania turnpikes.

After the snow has stopped and it has been determined that accumulations have exceeded 5", townships such as Berkeley will begin to snow plow

Berkeley will utilize approximately 70 pieces of township equipment and approximately 30 contracted loaders for cul-de-sacs. All streets are opened curb to curb to insure the drains are opened. Sanding and salting operations continue as needed.

The Warmies had to adapt the newer term Climate Change so they could mulligan the global meltdown thing. Secretary of State Kerry says it's a bigger crisis than terror...credibility alert...botox backfire! Kerry looks like the talking tree who hurled it's apples at Dorothy.

How much is it going to take to get people to realize our climate IS changing? It doesn't happen overnight, and I will keep repeating that. There will be violent swings back and forth as well as increased severity and frequency of storms. Do all of you doubters think that, especially since the Industrial Revolution, we could keep spouting all this garbage up into the atmosphere and nothing was going to happen? Oh, yea, the junk just disappeared or was somehow reabsorbed. Get your heads out of the sand.

Sharon - Nobody will tell you the climate is not changing. Worry when the climate does not change, not when it does. The problem is the alarmists lack the proper mindset to have a discussion about this. Since you mention the Industrial Revolution, I assume you are well versed in history. Go back and take a look at the extremes from the Cretaceous period to the Permian period. Were humans around then? Explain the unprecedented heat in the 1930's. Look, we only now have 30 years of satellite data on a planet that is over 4 billion years old. The issue has become political. I am about using the scientific method to prove a hypothesis, no politics. Rather than people name-calling and telling people to get your head out of the sand, I challenge you to go back and look at history. Step away from CNN, Fox, ALL OF THEM and do you own analysis. You'd be surprised to find how there are two sides to this.

The medieval warming period was a good thing if you were alive at the time. Truth is the planet has always been cycling long before the internal combustion engine. Weather is the ultimate dynamic, solar, winds, clouds, pressure zones ,temperature distribution, moisture content, lunar phases, sun spots! local topography and massive moving oceans. Weather is not ruled by alarmist computer models that are easily manipulated. We have not seen global warming in 16 years. I'm not sure what climate change represents beyond a lust for a carbon tax. Climate change? We always have and will continue to have it.
