Martin Z. Mollusk: Summer Will Be Here Soon

Ocean City's version of Punxsutawney Phil spotted his shadow for the 40th consecutive year, and summer will be here early, according to ocnjdaily.

Martin Z. Mollusk celebrated his 40th anniversary Thursday morning, and despite a foggy day and rain that left much of the state north of Ocean City under water, he saw his shadow once again when he stepped under the bright lights inside the Ocean City Music Pier.

After an early part of 2014 that bombarded the state with snow, ice and freezing temperatures, winter never stood a chance.
