Heavy Rain in the Forecast for Ocean City on Monday

Ocean City will not see the snow the rest of the southern portion of the state is expecting.

While much of the rest of southern New Jersey is expecting heavy snow accumulation, Ocean City is expected to see heavy rain and less than an inch of snow accumulation, according to the National Weather Service out of Mount Holly.

As of 3:58 Monday morning, Ocean City was expecting periods of heavy rain to change over to snow with less than one inch of accumulation expected.

Ocean City schools remained open on Monday. Last week, the school district announced graduation was being pushed back two days due to the number of school days the district has had this year, according to Shore News Today.
