Free Halloween Costumes for Children Available for Today's Trick-or-Treating

Costumes will be available 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ocean City Tabernacle.

OCNJ CARE will provide new Halloween costumes to primary and middle school-aged children between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Nov. 10) at the Ocean City Tabernacle.

Any child who has lost a costume due to recent events is eligible. Spirit Halloween donated 135 costumes to OCNJ CARE.  Free costumes can be picked up while they last.

For further information, call Michael DeVlieger at 609-231-8987.

Halloween Trick or Treat in Ocean City will be on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. citywide.

The city asks that motorists be very cautious while driving during this period. They ask that parents please accompany their children, use flashlights and extreme caution based on storm debris conditions in the areas they are trick or treating.

Free costumes is one of the most thoughtful things I have heard yet. The loss of a costume so easily forgotten, but trick or treating so much fun! Kudos to those for remembering and for so much thought. Sue Anderson
