Food is Love Drive Extended to March 7

Ocean City residents looking to make a donation to the Ocean City Board of Realtors Food is Love, Share Some Love Food Drive will have a little more time to get their donation in.

The food drive has been extended to March 7 due to the inclement weather the region's seen this winter.

The Food is Love, Share Some Love Food Drive is collecting food, including canned items, juice, microwaveable pasta meals and more. Monetary donations and ShopRite gift cards are also accepted.

All donations will be made to the Ecumenical Food Cupboard to provide for local needy families. Items the Cupboard has identified a shortage of and is in need of include:

Hormel Microwaveable Meals;
