Fireworks Display, Jeep Invasion Set for This Weekend in Ocean City

The fireworks display is Saturday night, and the second annual Jeep Invasion is Friday and Saturday.

Two new fireworks displays have been added to Ocean City’s summer events calendar, with the first one taking place this weekend.

The first display is Saturday night, June 14, 10:30 p.m. off the boardwalk in honor of Jeep Invasion Weekend and Father’s Day.  The display is sponsored by the Ocean City Boardwalk Merchants Association.

The other display has been scheduled for July 16.

Over 400 jeeps will also be on display during the second annual Jeep Invasion Weekend.

On Friday, June 13, jeeps will be on display on Asbury Avenue from 6th to 9th streets, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

On Saturday, June 14, jeeps will line the boardwalk from 6th to 14th streets, and 20 vendors will be featured. 

The New Jersey Jeep Association provides the rally that is sponsored by the Boardwalk Merchants and Ocean City Tourism Commission.

The weekend begins Wednesday with the Miss New Jersey Parade on the boardwalk. The pageant begins Thursday night and concludes Saturday night. All sessions begin at 7 p.m.
