Messiah Sing-In: At 4 p.m., Ocean City Tabernacle hosts the Atlantic Youth Orchestra (along with professional musicians) in a Messiah Sing-In. At a "sing-in," the audience becomes the performers — singing with the orchestra on Christmas sections of Handel's Messiah, including "And the Glory of the Lord," "For Unto Us a Child is Born" and the "Hallelujah" chorus. The Ocean City Tabernacle was started in 1879 by a group of Methodist clergymen. It was initially a Christian resort by the sea and has evolved into an interdenominational Christian center.
