The City’s annual celebration of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. at the Bill and Nancy Hughes Performing Arts Center at Ocean City High School, Sixth Street and Atlantic Avenue.
Reverend Gregory Johnson will recite the inspirational “I Have a Dream” speech and the Bubby Fan Gospel Group will sing.

The Hughes Performing Arts Center is a state-of-the-art auditorium that serves as home to school drama and musical performances as well as a variety of community events.
The Performing Arts Center is part of Ocean City High School, and the entrance is on the beach block of Sixth Street between Atlantic Avenue and the Boardwalk.
