Local Author/Robert Burns "The Bard Eternal" book signing & discussion
The Bard Eternal by Robert Burns
is the story of the poet Thomas Tuck and his pursuit of his one true love, the fair Dawn, and of the spirit of William Shakespeare who is ever at his side as a friend, a mentor and a guide. The fact that only Thomas is aware of the bard’s presence adds a touch of humor that puts the comedy back into romantic comedy and shall surely bring a smile and perhaps an occasional tear to the reader’s eye.
What begins as a charming love story, sprinkled with verse worthy of the bard, transforms into an odyssey such as Shakespeare himself, for all his many gifts, would never have imagined possible. And around each corner find the fiery muse, weaving her wild and wonderful song not merely into the soul of a poet but into pages of history. You have but to turn such a page and the adventure shall begin.
Author Robert Burns is a lifelong poet and sonneteer. He is originally from Pennsylvania but currently resides in Absecon, NJ. He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University. His philosophy is founded in a firm belief that not all inspiration need arise from angst and turmoil. Beauty has value even if it is not always perceived and inspiration has many voices even if they are not always heard.
