  a very elite group.&nbsp\; She is just the ninth woman to ever don the 
 red\, white and blue and the first since 1993.&nbsp\; TNT&rsquo\;s baske
 tball journey got started later than most. She didn&rsquo\;t start playi
 ng until she stumbled upon the game on the playground at the age of 13. 
 She also played volleyball and participated in track in field during her
  teenage years &ndash\; setting state records in both the long jump and 
 triple jump &ndash\; but she didn&rsquo\;t love those sports like she lo
 ved basketball\, and she was an all-conference selection in basketball i
 n each of her four years in high school.TNT began her college career at 
 New Mexico before transferring to Temple\, where she was lucky enough to
  be coached by three-time Olympic gold medalist Dawn Staley. TNT says\, 
 &ldquo\;Coach Staley was not only a role model for me through her amazin
 g basketball credentials\, but she showed me balance&hellip\;balance bet
 ween being a player\, taking care of family\, and giving back to the com
 munity.
