Come join the fun and learn about an extraordinary event coming to our area this summer, Bark for Life of Cape May County! Bark for Life (BFL) is a fundraising event that honors the caregiving qualities of canine companions and is looking for volunteers to assist in all aspects of our first annual event. The BFL is fully supported by the American Cancer Society (ACS) and 100% volunteer. The ACS is dedicated to preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing cancer through research, advocacy and services. BFLCMC will be held at Amanda’s Field in Petersburg on June 2 , 2012 and promises to be a day full of family and community fun! We will have doggie games, kids’ games, exhibitions, vendors, food and beverage, music and more! Stop by Seaville Tavern in Ocean View on Fri., Feb, 10 to learn more and meet fellow volunteers. Complimentary refreshments will be provided as well as video of “Barks” around the country.
