Andrew Hink Concert
Ocean City Free Public Library, 1735 Simpson Ave, Ocean City, NJ | Get Directions »
FREE
Ocean City songwriter Andrew Hink will perform songs from his debut album at a free performance 7 p.m. Friday (Feb. 1) at the Ocean City Free Public Library.
The 24-year-old graduate of Ocean City High School (2006) and Philadelphia's University of the Arts (2010) recently completed a self-produced album, Lindenwold.
For Hink, Lindenwold represents a halfway point. It was the midpoint of his commute to Philadelphia when he went to school there — but he said it also symbolizes a halfway point between his childhood in Ocean City and his future in the world of music.
The concert on Friday will feature Hink on piano, playing songs from his new album, along with some some other covers. Listen to one of the tracks here: http://avhink.bandcamp.com/track/city-of-brotherly-love-3.
The event had originally been scheduled for early November, but it was postponed in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.
