"Tough Cookies" on at 8:30 p.m. instead of 10 p.m. Mondays

Ocean City Yacht Club chef and members are featured in tonight's episode of the Food Network show about Ocean City's own Crazy Susan's Cookies.

Change your DVR setting or your plans for tonight (July 25) so you can catch "Tough Cookies" at its new time -- 8:30 p.m. instead of 10 p.m. on the Food Network, according to a network spokeswoman.

Bill McGinnity -- an executive chef at the Ocean City Yacht Club, owner of Cousin's Restaurant and a BYOB petition organizer -- and some OCYC members figure prominently in the new episode of the show revolving around the antics of the boisterous family behind Ocean City's own Crazy Susan's Cookies.

McGinnity says he is looking forward to seeing the episode, which is called "Fish Out of Water" and involves shop owner Susan Adair creating a never-before-seen "popcorn cookie" to boost McGinnity's efforts to bring in new clientele to the club.

"Of course, that means (Susan's) whole family is planning to attend the event, and descend upon the posh yacht club as if they were barbarians storming the gates," describes Food Network's episode guide.

McGinnity says he also arranged for a club member to take Crazy Susan and other characters out on a boat.

So, anyway, we wondered, how was the cookie?

"When it was warm, it was delicious," McGinnity says.

If you miss the first airing at 8:30 p.m. -- and happen to be an early riser, the episode is on again at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.
