Readers' Choice Mother's Day Breakfast Winner: Ma France Creperie

Results of our weekly readers' poll.

The winner of our Readers' Choice poll for favorite seasonal business is also the winner for favorite place for Mother's Day breakfast/brunch: Ma France Creperie

The Ninth Street bistro outpolled Ready's Coffee Shop, 91-69, to win the honor.

"I have to agree with my wife," Patch reader Neil Kaye said. "We took her mom and some of the rest of the family to Ma Creperie for Mother's Day 2011 and it was excellent. We plan to repeat it this year it was such a success."

"If i want a nice, different style breakfast in pretty surroundings, I go for Ma France," Patch reader "Eleanor" said.

Many commenters also took note of Ready's — and its food, prices, atmosphere and staff.

Mother's Day falls on Sunday, May 13, this year — which means you still have about a week to make plans for the day.

My favorite place is Ma Creperie! Too bad it's not on the list.

Ready's is the only place to go for breakfast in OC! Comfort food at its best, cooked and served by the best staff. It's THE place to be.

Thanks for adding Ma Creperie so I could vote. Hard to decide between the savory and dessert crepes, so of course I'll have both!

Depends on what I am in the mood for. If i want a nice, different style breakfast in pretty surroundings, i go for Ma France. If I want a bigger buffet in a pretty dining room, I would go for the Flanders (if they still do it that way). If i just want a really good coffee or latte or cappuccino and some good pastries i would go to my favorite coffee house, Who's on First.

The shore thing is by far the best restaurant to dine at for mothers day. My children love it and the prices are very reasonable. The stuffed French toast is phenomenal
