THanks Mr. Bergen for printing this info. I appreciate your efforts regardless of the symantics in the sexual assault story. I think trying to properly supervise teens in this day and age when they grow up so fast and are bombarded by a constant stream of very adult concepts and images is a lot like trying to nail jello to a tree. I am very glad to know this happened although I would like to know the exact address as I too am in the 2900 block of West Ave and have three teens, sometimes more, here for the summer.

On another note, you refer to the city's alcohol ord. several times in this police report. What exactly is the ordinance?

I applaud your efforts here and thank you for all you do!

I would like to see a little more reported on the Patch in regard to the underage drinking parties and the great Police response in regard to them. Perhaps if more people were aware of how much the Police have had to deal with in just the last two weeks more folks would think twice about dropping their teenagers here for "Senior Week". Fortunately not all teenagers are so irresponsible, but what a shame that this is looked at as a "right of passage" by so many.
