- Just a reminder that it is a violation of a city ordinance to have dogs on the boardwalk any time during the year.
- When driving on Route 52, please remember that the speed limit is 40 mph.
- Always remember to swim at a lifeguard protected beach and do not swim after hours.
- It is a crime in the State of New Jersey for any person to possess fireworks. The Ocean City Police Department has a zero tolerance policy when dealing with individuals who violate this law.

I'm a bit disappointed to see that after all the publicity regarding firework's being illegal that only one summons was issued. I'd estimate that at least 100 people/groups were setting them off on the beach and in the alleys. The person served with a summons must have blown up half of TN Ave. and several cars to warrant the summons.

I'm glad to see you mention the no dogs on the boardwalk law, how about on the beach? Dogs do their business in the sand where children are playing. And if you enforce that law, what about no alcohol or glass bottles. I see it all the time, but no one ever enforces it. It really ticks me off that some people think the rules don't apply to them.
