Tickets are on sale now for The Machine on Aug. 6 at the Ocean City Music Pier.
The promoter for a series of Monday-night concerts this summer on the Ocean City Music Pier announced a new show scheduled for August 6.
Tickets are now on sale for The Machine, a Pink Floyd tribute band, which will perform 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6.
Tickets ($27) for the show are on sale through Ticketmaster (with $6.90 in service fees) or at the Music Pier Box Office (by cash or check) 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
"The New York-based band focuses on making every show an authentic Floydian experience for their fans," the band's website says. "Known for performing a diverse mix of The Floyd’s extensive 16-album repertoire (complete with faithful renditions of popular hits as well as obscure gems), The Machine’s stellar musicianship, dramatic lighting and video, and their passionate delivery sets them above and beyond the rest."
The summer concert series also includes shows by the Bacon Brothers (July 9), Arlo Guthrie (July 16), Get the Led Out (July 23) and Charlie Thomas' Drifters (July 30), Little Feat (Aug. 20) and Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels (Aug. 27).
Tickets for any of the shows are available at the Music Pier Box Office on weekends and through Ticketmaster's Ocean City Music Pier page.
