Help Us Chart Ocean City's Most Flooded Intersections

We're creating a map and photo gallery of flooding in Ocean City.

When a thunderstorm dumped a couple inches of rain on Ocean City in a relatively quick cloudburst on Saturday afternoon (Aug. 11), there was nowhere for the water to drain.

Steve Cole and Marty Mozzo, neighbors in the Merion Park section of Ocean City, started the Facebook page after a Fourth Ward meeting hosted by Councilman Pete Guinosso.

"Both of us are tired of the flooding," Mozzo said. "It really destroys the quality of life. We knew that the entire island has issues, not much really was being done, and we want to try to get residents to post comments/photos on the page so that others will know it's a big problem."
