Ocean City regulars already love the work of artists Nancy Palermo and Susan Rau, but when Stephen King himself linked (on Facebook) to a photo of part of their new library mural, an Ocean City Patch story went viral. http://oceancity.patch.com/articles/new-mural-puts-a-face-to-names-of-authors#photo-8991103
The house was a classic and the May 2012 fire was devastating. http://oceancity.patch.com/articles/firefighter-injured-in-morningside-road-house-fire#photo-9997392

Ocean City Patch celebrated its second birthday on Sunday, Dec. 16, and in its short life, the site has tried to cover all news big and small on the island.

I agree with all comments above, My husband and I have been regular readers from our home here in Illinois. In good times and bad, OC Patch is a blessing. During the storm, residents who remained in town used OC Patch to let those of us watching in from afar know how our OC homes and neighborhoods were faring. There were several angels of mercy (one I remember was Jane Rubino) who walked throughout the neighborhood looking at specific residences and posting on what she found. This was such an encouragement! As a result of OC Patch, we feel so much more connected to Ocean City than we did before the Patch began. Many thanks to all involved, but especially to Douglas Bergen, for making this possible.
