The Ocean City High School football team picked up its first win of the season Friday night, Oct. 19.

There was a little drama before the initial victory came.

The Red Riaders fell behind twice before scoring two fourth quarter touchdowns to defeat Vineland, 20-14.

Frank Wooley scored two touchdowns for the Red Raiders, and quarterback Joey Keyes was responsible for the winning score to help Ocean City improve to 1-5.

Vineland took the lead with the initial score in the first quarter, on an Angel Rodriguez 1-yard run in the first quarter.

Wooley squared things up with a 35-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, but Isaiah Spencer gave the lead back to Vineland just before halftime with a 38-yard touchdown run.

The Ocean City defense shut out Vineland in the second half.

Wooley tied the game once more with a 13-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Keyes provided the winning score with a 2-yard run.
