Only two that look like they are working are the two North End cameras at 4th street and 2nd street. Does anyone know which way the 4th street camera is pointing? Is it at Oves?

Maria, I say the 57th street cam earlier today before it went out. I watched in horror as the sand fences then the dunes become completely breached. It was about 10:15 am, after high tide and the water supposedly receding. My guess is right now with high tide three plus hours away and Sandy making landfall in 45 minutes, the entire area will be under significant water.

I am on East Surf. The street is dry in front of my house. Winds are guating and howling. Very little rain at the moment. No power. Water was up E. Surf past Ocean Road to Gull Road at 1pm. Water up Battersea 1/2 block from Wesley.

Anything more on 57th and Central or south end in general?

Any pics or word on the 22nd and West area?

No pics of south end. Saw a video last night claiming to have been taken somewhere near55th and central and the ocean was definitely in the street!!! My hubby stayed to help with evacuation efforts and early morning reports have lots of sand in the streets. What a mess! Good luck everyone.
