Historical Images: The Century-Old Parkside Overlooks Tabernacle Grounds
A weekly feature includes photographs from the Ocean City Historical Museum collection and from the modern era.
This week's "Then and Now" features the Parkside, located at 501 Fifth St.
This former rooming house overlooks the Tabernacle grounds on the corner of Fifth Street and Central Avenue. It was built circa 1900 and operated as a rooming house and bed-and-breakfast prior to being sold in 2005 for $1.2 million. It has been completely renovated and converted to three residential condominium units.
