Dunkin' Donuts to Reopen Saturday With Chances for Year of Free Coffee

The store on the 900 block of West Avenue was damaged by the Oct. 29 Superstorm Sandy.

The Dunkin' Donuts at 926 West Avenue in Ocean City will hold a grand reopening celebration at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24.

The event will start with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The first 50 qualified participants will receive free Dunkin' Donuts coffee beverages for a year.

(Qualified participants must be 18 years of age or older and be one of the first 50 people in line to enter the store lobby after the ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 11 a.m. on Nov. 24, 2012. Drive-thru guests are not eligible. No purchase necessary. Qualified participants will receive 1 travel mug and 52 Dunkin Donuts coffee beverage cards equating to one per week for a year. All beverage cards expire on 12-31-2013 and are valid in participating Dunkin Donuts restaurants in Atlantic and Cape May counties. Dunkin' Donuts employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Additional prizes and giveaways may be randomly drawn to be won by qualified participants.)

The store has been closed since suffering flood damage during the Oct. 29 Superstorm Sandy. It will be the second "grand reopening" for Dunkin' Donuts this year. The store closed in the spring for a major renovation and opened its doors again in June 2012.

Dunkin Donuts is a wonderful asset to our city. Their generosity during the initial feeding operation was terrific! We will certainly continue to support them and their good works.

Agreed Jim. Great community partner, and VERY nice people. The owners really care about being a part of the community. VERY GENEROUS! Even while going through their own flooding problems. I'm a fan for life!
